Im a fan of folk horror and ghost stories.

maybe I’ll make something based on ghosts or cosmic dread. the focus should be sound

I thought about making a haunted house/gallery from a 3d model of the gallery – a space haunted by the ghosts of previous exhibitions, once alive but know dead.

or a homage to the short story The music of Erich Zann as its quite suitable for the topic of sound

I don’t believe in ghosts – watched a good YouTube video on it with gender critical observations, I recommend this channel.

Its something of a continued theme of the previous handin on Hotel Monterey – Hauntolgy, the weird and eerie, and the reasons behind these things

I hope to read more on aesthetics and will search for more texts in order to help conceptualise something.

aesthetic appropriation and re-appropriation – like non-christians wearing cross related jewellery as they like the look of it. As a non-religious person it sits a but funny with me. I suppose it’s a bit like band t-shirts (though with less historic ‘baggage’). Reclamation and reformation of symbolism.

I think the topic leaves room for some fun and play.
